Anyi Cai is a highly accomplished harpsichordist and pianist based in New Haven, CT, currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Harpsichord Performance at Stony Brook University. She holds a Master of Musical Arts in Harpsichord Performance from Yale University and a Master of Music in Harpsichord Performance and Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Anyi has extensive teaching experience, having served as a teaching artist at Yale University and as a piano instructor at various music academies.
Anyi has earned numerous awards, including multiple Platinum Prizes at the Berlioz International Music Competition and the Harry & Margaret Simeone Scholarship. Her performance experience includes notable venues like the United Nations for UNICEF, Morse Recital Hall at Yale, and the Millennium Stage at the John F. Kennedy Center. In addition to her performance career, Anyi has served as a jury member for international music competitions and is affiliated with several prestigious music associations. She is also skilled in harpsichord maintenance and possesses strong musicianship and software skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin.
