A Violinist born in Taiwan. Music Education Specialist with Expertise in Violin and Piano Currently pursuing her Doctoral degree at Rutgers University with prof. Todd Phillips. At the same time also serving as the Music Director at New Asia Chamber Music Society and as a substitute violinist at Chicago civic orchestra.
Ms. Chen completed her Master degree from Mannes Music school with Prof. Ming-Feng Hsin, and Prof. Wen Qian. And also obtain her Bachelor of Music degree at Tsing Hua University. Majoring violin and minoring in piano.
Beside teaching Ms. Chen has years of performance experience in solo and chamber and orchestra concerts . Ms. Chen was a prize winner for the Tsing Hua University concerto competition as a violin soloist.
As a teacher, Ms. Chen has lots of teaching experience with a passion for interacting with children, Her Teaching philosophy is revolves around nurturing students’ musical development by fostering their imagination, instilling a passion for learning, and encouraging independent practice. I aim to motivate and empower students through tailored guidance, constructive feedback, and a diverse range of teaching methods, ensuring an engaging and effective learning journey while simplifying complexities to enhance their musical absorption and achievements.
