Samuel Ramirez was born and raised in New York City. He has been playing Drumset for 12 years. In that time he had also studied and earned a degree in performance for Percussion at the Aaron Copland School of Music. Equipping me to teach not just Drumset but he all sorts of percussion instruments of the western classical tradition, and teach a number of different genres of music found around the world. He has been teaching private and group, classes and lessons for 6 years now

In his lessons he hopes to inspire hsi students to be creative thinkers. And do his best to teach them the fundamentals of music and percussion while also implementing exercises that explore not just technique but musical language and expression. So that every student leaves a lesson feeling equipped to study pieces of music and the traditions of classical music, but also leave equipped to be creative artists and find the  passion behind their instruments.
