Native of South Korea, clarinetist Wonchan Will Doh started playing the clarinet at the age of 12. Mr. Doh is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts studies at Rutgers University. Before his studies at Rutgers, Mr. Doh attended the Manhattan School of Music for their orchestral performance program studying with Pascual Martinez-Forteza, and completed his Master of Music degree at the Juilliard School under the tutelage of Anthony McGill where he also earned his Bachelor’s degree.

As an active orchestral player, Mr. Doh is currently the second clarinetist of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, where he joined in March of 2023. Mr. Doh has performed with the New York Philharmonic, Symphony in C, and has appeared in Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, and, David Geffen Hall. At the 2017 National Orchestral Institute, under the baton of David Alan Miller, Mr. Doh participated in the recording of John Harbisoin’s Symphony No. 4. An American Classics album in partnership with the NAXOS label, where the album was nominated as a “Best Orchestral Performance” for the 2018 GRAMMY Awards. Mr. Doh has worked under the batons of renowned conductors such as Marion Alsop, JoAnn Falleta, James Gaffigan, Alan Gilbert, David Robertson, Emmanuel Villaume, and Jaap Van Zweden.
